The role
We are currently recruiting for a Director, Total Rewards to join the IPL team. Preference for home office location in the following states: GA, AZ, MA, MO, OH, WA, KY, or CA
As a Director, Total Rewards at IPL you will:
- Manage all total reward programs (compensation, benefits, retirement, health & wellbeing etc.) in line with company policies, legislation and other compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the delivery of the annual reward cycle across the region.
- Lead the pay management process, including appropriate job sizing, benchmarking and pay positioning, using external survey and data insights.
- Manage all aspects of the employee benefits program across the region, including the renewal process, successful open enrolment, communications and engagement and other related initiatives.
- Develop and manage employee communications and change management strategies to improve employee understanding of our total reward programs and their value.
- Manage third party vendors to ensure that we deliver the best outcome for our people and the business.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing total reward programs, policies and guidelines, ensuring that they are market competitive, cost effective and aligned with the Global total reward strategy.
- Support the education of HR colleagues and business stakeholders on total reward best practice, procedures and trends, ensuring consistency of approach and value for money.
- Subject matter expert and trusted partner on all total reward matters across the region.
- Participate in various global projects, relating to the design of reward policies and tools.
- Support the due diligence process and review of all reward plans for new mergers and acquisitions.

What you will bring to the role:
- 7+ years’ experience in total reward.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
- Experience working in large complex international MNC environments.
- Strong knowledge of total reward best practices, trends and regulations in the US & Canada.
- Experience developing divisional total reward strategies and policies.
- Proven track record in supporting total reward projects and change management initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and consultation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to influence team members and build broader consensus.
- Growth mindset, a self-starter with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and prioritize competing demands.
- Conversational French would be a plus!!
