The role
The Opportunity:
- Liaise with planning for production dates
- Advise warehouse of collections/deliveries and which products are to be loaded
- Work with QC to resolve any quality issues
- Progress tool repairs with the tool room
- Liaise with transport providers to book delivery vehicles
Overview of Key Duties:
- To accept and accurately process customer’s purchase orders
- To confirm delivery dates based on agreed manufacturing/Sales lead times
- To liaise with planning and production to ensure parts are made on time
- To confirm to customers if manufacturing dates need to change
- To work closely with the sales team to ensure continuity with customers
- To receive enquiries, queries and complaints in a professional manner
- To oversee and progress enquiries, queries and complaints updating customers where necessary and ensuring that they are aware of any resolution
- To liaise with Purchasing for label and stock requirements
- Liaising and assisting the QC department in the resolution of any 8Ds
- Communicating with warehouse personnel to ensure the correct products are loaded onto collection/delivery vehicles
- Corresponding with transport companies to arrange deliveries
- Raising packing slips / picks on SNAP
- Filing of customer’s orders
- Assisting the Customer Service Manager with reports as required
- To attend weekly product knowledge training sessions
- Promote and adhere to all IPL policies and procedures and actively promote IPL wherever possible
- Responsible for own health and safety and that of your colleagues and others on IPL premises.
