As a Packer at IPL you will:
 

• Conduct work order verification by verifying and logging required information from the work order at each production assigned
• Ensure carton (box) labels staged at press are filled out and/or used in numerical order, in accordance with instructions
• Pack parts in boxes as directed by work order and quality standards
• Make cartons (boxes) as needed for parts being run on the production presses assigned by following construction and storage requirements
• Re-stock production press with correct packaging materials
• Place cartons (boxes) in proper configuration on pallet per work order and/or supervisor instruction
• Inspect parts on all sides when taking parts off the parts handling equipment to ensure they meet documented quality standards
• Pick out defects while continuing to pack good parts
• Pack parts for sort/rework/repack if authorized by Supervisor or Quality Auditor
• Sort good parts and pack for shipment while placing parts with defects into bags to be tagged for regrind
• Maintain good general housekeeping in workstation
• Strictly adhere to all documented and enforced GMP and Food Safety policies
• All other duties as assigned
