On July 1, 2025, IPL Plastics merged with Schoeller Allibert to form IPL Schoeller (the ‘company’). The Company’s operations are split across North America (11 manufacturing plants) and Europe (16 manufacturing plants).

The company is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. IPL Schoeller is a leading manufacturer of sustainable rigid packaging solutions across a range of end market segments including returnable transit packaging, consumer and industrial packaging, environmental containers and agricultural packaging. The company employs c.4,100 employees across North America (1,600 employees) and Europe (2,500 employees.)

The role
Partner with the Plant Manager and operations team to drive informed decisions that improve profitability, efficiency, and long-term growth for IPL Schoeller North America.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the site’s financial business partner, providing accurate and timely analysis to guide decisions.

• Lead all finance operations for manufacturing, ensuring strong controls and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.

• Identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and growth; collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results.

• Oversee financial processes including monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory control, and capital projects.

• Drive efficiency initiatives, monitor variances, and support internal audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow responsibility for the plant.

• Analyze financial data, variances, and inventory; prepare reports and forecasts.

• Lead annual budget and monthly forecasts.

• Maintain internal controls and support audits.

• Provide proactive financial insights to plant leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting (CPA preferred).

• 5–7 years in manufacturing finance with strong cost analysis experience.

• Expertise in US GAAP and managerial accounting.

• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, graphs).

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
